She's Officially Mine One Day Sooner!!!

Great news! Our G & R is moved up. It's now Tuesday afternoon instead of Wednesday morning - every second counts!! This means that Macy is a member of this family one day sooner!

I feel strangely calm. I just want her in my arms so I can concentrate on her.

Hanoi is wonderful. Reminds Kathy of the French Quarter in Shanghai - old world charm. We went for a short stroll today to the smaller lake in the middle of Hanoi. It was cooler by the water. It's warm here, but not uncomfortable. We didn't venture far as we are still trying to get used to the time change. We miss the short rainfall/downpour (the rainy season is just about to start here), as we were busy having our afternoon nap.

Went out to dinner with some of the other families to a great local place called Little Hanoi - fantastic food!!!! and great company.

We've added a few shots from our morning stroll. Check out the nice and tidy electrical system here! We crossed the street so we didn't have to walk under it. Check out the motorbikes. They're everywhere!!! That's why Vietnam is known as the Honda Dream!

Met up with a great French Canadian guy named Yann; he works for INDOCHINA-LAND Travel. He's great and we plan to have him help us arrange some tours within Hanoi and the surrounding area before we come home.

Yann suggested we try a local restaurant that has great food, but you have to walk past the dog head in the entry way - that's for another day. He also told us about a great cafe, where we can get Weasel Coffee - coffee made from beans the weasel has eaten and eliminated, then the beans are cleaned and ground up. Apparently, it's fantastic! We're trying to get up enough nerve to try this too. I might even try it and I don't even like coffee.
