We're Here

As the heading says, We're Here. It was after 4 when we left Toronto, the flight to Shanghai was uneventful, but not so the transfer in Shanghai. After much confusion, misdirection, filling out health cards, (darn swine flu)enter and exit forms, we entered China, found the place to exit and we were off. NOT SO. Turned out you have to claim your luggage, check in again and then pass through security etc. But no one had told us any of that so after running around, lost Randi for a bit, finding our luggage, (turns out they were trying to find us as we did not claim our luggage) etc, etc we were finally through security and we had a few minutes to sit and enjoy a cold drink before we boarded our plane for Hanoi. We arrived Hanoi, got our luggage, were met at the door by our driver, driven through the dark empty streets to our hotel. We are at the Army Hotel. We just grabbed a quick shower and are heading off to bed.
2 more days till I meet Macy, it can't come soon enough.
